G. Frances Tafoya

On the morning of December 25,2024, G. Frances Tafoya passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Frances, an Albuquerque native enjoyed being with her family and friends, traveling and camping with her husband Cecil and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Cecil, her parents Serafin and Andrellita Gomez,and sister Mary Aranda.

She is survived by her son Steve and wife Vicky, of Albuquerque, son Ray and wife Sheila, of Aurora CO. She had 3 grandchildren, Leanne Tafoya and husband Carlos Vera, Aurora Co, Jamie Tafoya, Aurora, CO and grandson, Andrew Tafoya and wife Amber, Aurora, CO, and two beautiful great-grandchildren Harlow and Hazel, Andrew and Ambers girls.

She retired after 30 years with USWest, now known as Lumen Communications. Frances was strong in her faith and beliefs.

A Rosary will be said at 9:30 am before a traditional Catholic Mass at 10:00 am at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, on Thursday, January 9, 2025 with Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary at 11:30 am.
