Gracie Herbert

Gracie A. Herbert, age 90, our family's rock, our dedicated mother, passed away Saturday May 24th. Gracie was known for her commitment to family, hard work, and inspiration for others to follow. She loved to sew. Sewing many clothes for herself, her children and grandchildren. Gracie has also created many beautiful quilts for family members to have. She enjoyed horses, raising cattle, ranching, and farming alongside her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Reeves P. Herbert, Reelynn King, Ross D. Herbert, and Rocedelynn Herbert-Roan, and sisters, Pauleen Billie, and Linda Whyte. She also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gracie was preceded in death by her husband, Ross B. Herbert, father Herbert Becenti, mother Christine Becenti, brothers Tony Becenti, Edison Becenti, Monty Becenti and her sisters Lucy Cayatineto, and Ester Jodie. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 5th at 8:00am at FRENCH- Lomas. NE Interment will follow at Sante Fe National Cemetery in Sante Fe, NM.
