Grace Elizabeth Wenk, born July 18, 1941, passed away on December 16, 2025. Whether you knew her from Wenk Farms & Greenhouses, her years teaching 4-H, or her delectable cakes and pies, Grace will be remembered as a beloved fixture of the South Valley.

She had a remarkable gift for making everyone she ever met feel welcome and loved, and she meant it sincerely. Grace spent most of her life in the South Valley of Albuquerque, farming alongside her lifetime love and late husband, John. In retirement, Grace and John embarked on new adventures together, traveling across the United States in their RV. Many family and friends were fortunate to join them on these journeys, creating cherished memories.

Grace lived by her faith and embodied the teachings of Jesus, showing kindness, humility, and love in all she did. Her life was a testament to living as Christ taught, serving others with generosity, gratitude, and compassion. Anyone who ever did her a favor could expect delicious baked goods, or at the very least, a handwritten thank-you card. She meant so much to so many, and her lengthy, prolific life is difficult to capture in words.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her daughter, Becky. Grace is survived by her son, Johnny Wenk; her grandson Dalton Wenk; and her grandson Dillon Wenk and his wife, Olivia Wenk.

Her legacy of faith, kindness, hospitality, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH-Lomas.
