Gloria Lucille Huskey

Gloria McIntyre Huskey went to be with our Lord on July 10, 2017. She was born in Birmingham, AL, February 10, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Carmen Crowe; her siblings, Aretta Shultz, Mattie Lou Lewis Wingard, and Ronald Crowe. She was married to Clarence E. McIntyre for 28 years until his death.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John D. Huskey; her sons, Ernest McIntyre and wife, Monica, John McIntyre and wife, Carey; and stepsons, Ron Huskey and wife, Pat, Wayne Huskey and wife, Renee, Scot Huskey and wife, Janice; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her career as a beautician included owning and operating Gloria’s Beauty Salon in the North Valley for many years. After she retired, she loved to crochet and was active in the First Baptist Church of Truth or Consequences.
She was known for her love of family and friends and made everyone feel welcome in her home. Gloria was very precious to all of us with her sweet, kind and caring disposition. She will be missed.
