It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn, a beloved husband, stepfather, and friend, who left us with a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness. Glenn was a warm-hearted person whose genuine affection for his family and friends was evident to all. He had an undeniable gift for making those around him feel secure and cherished.
Glenn was a principled and honest man who held strong values. He abhorred injustice and was a champion of empathy towards others. His deep connection to nature was reflected in his education and passion for horticulture and landscape design, which he combined with his creativity to cultivate beautiful gardens.
In his professional life, Glenn discovered his true calling as an ice skating instructor. He dedicated his life to instilling confidence, discipline, and focus in his students, many of whom went on to achieve great success in various fields. His love for ice skating deeply connected him to his family, including his stepdaughter Jennifer and stepson Jason, who both thrived under his guidance.
Glenn was also a talented cook, known for his culinary skills and passion for sharing meals with others. He took great joy in creating delicious dishes from ingredients he grew himself, bringing family and friends together around the dinner table.
Known for his playful nature and great sense of humor, Glenn lightened every moment, even during challenging times. His chronic pain in later years was met with resilience and a candid sense of humor that inspired those around him.
Though Glenn came from a Judaic background, he embraced a more agnostic philosophy, believing in a compassionate and loving guiding force within us all. He was fortunate to spend his final years surrounded by a network of supportive friends who lifted him up through his struggles.
Glenn leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, stepchildren, and many dear friends. We are grateful to everyone who has joined us in honoring his life and memory. Glenn's legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
