Glenda Faye Newman, 74 of Albuquerque passed away Tuesday January 20, 2026 surrounded by family holding her hand. Glenda loved dancing, especially in the rain. She adored her grandchildren dearly.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Lesley in 2006. She is survived by her son Kevin Nix and his wife Laura. Grandchildren Paige Nix(Armando), Cameron Nix and Christopher Rogers (Brittany). Sisters Janet Decker, Debbie Barela, Karen Barela(Larry), Terry Collier (Elvin), brothers Danny Newman and Keith Newman.

She leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the coming weeks at Sunset memorial park. Interment will follow at Sunset where she will join Lesley and Faye.
