August 29, 1958 – March 30, 2026
Glen Roger Postenrieder, 67, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 30, 2026. Glen lived a life marked by kindness, humility, and a deep love for his family, faith, and community.
He dedicated many years working at the University of New Mexico South and North Golf Courses, where he took pride in maintaining the game he loved. Glen also had a passion for coaching baseball, spending years mentoring youth at East Mountain Little League and coaching at Manzano High School. He was a patient teacher who made a lasting impact on countless young athletes.
Glen was a man of few words, but always someone you could count on—a steady presence, a listening ear, and a source of quiet strength. He was a devoted father, loving son, and caring brother.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Postenrieder; his children, Chantel Garrett (Aaron) and their daughters Hannah and Lily, and Ryan Postenrieder (Sheena); his brothers Gary (Ahna), Gordon (Renae), and Gene (Louise); and his sisters Linda (Donna) and Leslie (Matt) Helge. He was preceded in death by his father, Emery Postenrieder.
Glen loved God and was a faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church, where he attended regularly with his mother. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, his love of life, and even his trademark shorts and sandals—no matter the weather.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Please join us for a celebration of Glen’s life at Christ Lutheran Church and School at 7701 Candelaria Rd. NE, 87110. Monday, April 6, 2026 at 10 am. In honor of Glen, you are welcome to wear your “best” pair of shorts and sandals.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Mile High Little League, or East Mountain Little League.
