Geta Gatterman

Geta Gatterman, 90, beloved mother, daughter, spouse, grandmother, mother-in-law, and sister, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. She entered this world on Sunday, June 4, 1933 in Strang, Oklahoma, born to James and Sue Smith. She is survived by her children David Gatterman, Kate Chapman and Michael Gatterman; her grandchildren Lucas Gatterman and Amelia Gatterman; her sister Gayle Vanatta; and her brothers Phil Smith and Doug Smith. A public Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Lomas. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Lomas. She will be buried in Big Cabin, Oklahoma at the Big Cabin Cemetery on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her name to the Animal Humane Society in Albuquerque.
