George Martin Richmond

Richmond, George, age 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1998, died on January 14, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Richmond, daughter Alexandra Richmond of Austin, TX, and his sisters, Elizabeth Hayford and Sally Wiegmann. He was active in many civic causes, serving on the boards of: The League of Woman Voters, New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Opera Southwest, and as an advocate for voting rights, end of life options, education, etc. He was the founder and first president of New Mexico Private Investors, now NM Angel Investors.

It was his wish that there be no memorial service.
