It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gabrielle "Ellie" Hudson, a cherished daughter, sister, and granddaughter who is fondly remembered for her vibrant personality. Ellie was born on June 20th, 1999, and passed away on the 5th of May, 2026, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of those fortunate enough to have known her. Ellie will be greatly missed by her beloved family. She is survived by her mother, Kimberly Hudson, and father, Brett Gunderson. Additionally, Ellie leaves behind her two loving sisters, Olivia Feliciano and Caroline Blackwell, as well as her admired brother, Cody Gunderson. Her grandparents, Dave and Betty Gunderson, will hold their precious memories of Ellie close to their hearts . Ellie was predeceased by her cherished Grandfather, Jerry Hudson, whose warm presence she will now join.Known for her fun-loving "goofball" spirit, her love of horror flicks, adding to her tattoo collection, baking cookies, decorating exquisite cakes for family, friends, and her online bakery. Ellie was also incredibly loving and kind-hearted. With her infectious hug, she never hugged you half way, you got all of her. She strongly believed that kindness is not a weakness, but rather a strength that can change the world.
Ellie's impressive accomplishments include her years at Albertsons where she learned the art of decorating cakes, the love and joy she brought to the children at the day care she worked for before moving on to JBH Construction where she was promoted to project engineer within three short years. Yet, her most remarkable achievement was the love and joy she spread effortlessly. She was a beacon of light, and her infectious smile could light up any room. The world has lost one of its brightest stars, but Ellie's spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved. The void left by her passing is immense, yet the love and vibrancy she imparted will forever keep her alive in our hearts.
