Freddie Max Bumpass passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at his home in Albuquerque, NM. Freddie was born on May 23, 1945 in Lubbock, TX. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 1968. Freddie served in the US Army Reserves from 1968 to 1974.

In 1968, Freddie relocated to Dallas, TX where he worked in the fashion jewelry and clothing industry as a wholesale salesman with a showroom in the Apparel Mart.

Freddie enjoyed travel, loved people, and admired nature and mountains. In 1976, he pursued his dream to travel the world and began his adventure in Katmandu, Nepal. He spent 21 days trekking in the Mount Everest region. Freddie traveled extensively in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Southeast Asia. He loved India and spent much time there.
