Frankie L. Piscitelli, beloved wife, mother, sister, friend, and neighbor, died peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2020 in her home.

She was born in Many, LA to Ellis and Bessie Sibley on April 30, 1928 and graduated from Many High School in 1946. Frankie Lee was one of seven children and joined the U.S. Army-Air Corps, stationed with the Weather Cartography Unit in San Francisco. It is there she met her husband, Dominic, a veteran of three wars: WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He proceeded her in death 35 years ago from lung cancer. She is also proceeded in death by her siblings (Robert, Helen, Clara, Elsie, Ellis Ray, and Kitty). She saw many trials and triumphs in her long life, always maintaining a positive, vibrant attitude about every day. She was always up with the sun and kept herself busy with her house, her family and her friends. She loved to work crossword puzzles, and have a cup of coffee with her kids, her friends, and her extended family. She was beloved by everyone, always had a positive word, a quip or a joke, a story to tell, always with a spring in her step. She loved her family and loved her life.

She leaves behind her beloved sister-in-law, Annie Piscitelli, her brother-in-law, Jack Carter; her six children Laura (Gerry), Donna (Tom, deceased), Felicia, Joseph, Aimée (James), Mary (Jay); three grandchildren, Rebecca (James), Raphael (Karris), Gabrielle; and her great-grandson, Elliott (Emily). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and special friends including Kwong and Linda Chu and their children Stephanie, Melissa, and Timothy as well as Sharon and Ron Fox and their children Veronica and Reggie.

Frankie Lee will be buried Friday, October 2, 2020, 9:30 a.m.at Santa Fe National Cemetery alongside her husband, Dominic.
