Frank A. Tapia died peacefully in his bed on July 9, 2017. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from the US Postal Service.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna M. Tapia, married for 67 years; children, Patsy and husband, Robert Sanchez, Rita and husband, Greg Ortiz, Freida and husband, Gilbert Padilla, David Tapia, Maria and husband, Troy Tapia, and Diane Tapia. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He has two surviving sisters, Mary Martinez and Sally Rivera; and brother, Ernie Tapia. He was preceded in death by his son, Frank O. Tapia.
