Frank Raymond Martinez, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his son, David. He is survived by his loving wife, Mabel, of 63 years; children, Diane Garcia and husband, David, Larry Martinez and wife, Irene; grandchildren, Michael Martinez and fiancée, Melissa Ulibarri, Monica Martinez, Natalie Tavitas and husband Tony; great-grandchild, Justen Martinez. Frank was a Korean War Veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps, retired from the City of Albuquerque, and Herrera Bus Co. He was an avid fisherman and all-around athlete. He cherished spending time with his family and will be greatly missed. We will continue to honor his wishes with a private memorial to be held at Bluewater Lake, NM.
