On August 3, 2020, Heaven called home one of the greats.
Frank Frisby was born in 1937 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After graduating from Franklin High School, Frank joined the Air Force in 1955 and spent part of his service in North Africa. He then worked at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids before taking a leap into entrepreneurship with RiverView Ceramics in 1969. RiverView became a ceramic mold company in the early 1970s, and Frank purchased a plant on P Avenue in Williamsburg, Iowa in the early 1990s from which to run his company. He traveled the country for many years attending trade shows for RiverView. During this time, Frank met his wife Kathy. They married in 2005 and retired in 2008, splitting their time between Williamsburg and Kathy’s hometown of Albuquerque, NM. In 2013 they moved to Albuquerque full time and enjoyed their retirement. In his younger years, Frank also enjoyed roller skating, golf, bowling, fishing, pool, card games, and playing piano. He leaves behind a legacy of honesty, integrity, and kindness.
Frank is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Debbie Dalrymple (Ron) of Loudon, TN; son, Frank Daniel Frisby (Jean) of Williamsburg, IA; their mother, Patsy Frisby of Cedar Rapids, IA; stepchildren, Brian Arellanes of Windsor, CA and Valerie Arellanes of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Nance (Jerry) of Punta Gorda, FL and Cherie Jacques of Iowa City, IA; brother-in-law, Dennis Forsyth of Green River, WY; grandchildren, Tiffany Gerenstein (Ryan) of Homer Glen, IL, Tiara Boysen (Earl) of Woodstock, IL, Ryan Dalrymple of Knoxville, TN, Tristyn Marrero (Jon) of Oak Ridge, TN, and Severina Leitheiser of Clearwater, FL, and Joaquin Arellanes of Windsor, CA; nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
