Ren'ee Dalton-Torres

Ren'ee Torres, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26th, 2026 in Rio Rancho, NM at the age of 66. Born on June 8th, 1959 in Roswell, NM to Inez Looney and Kenneth Dalton. She was known for her kindness, love for her family, and devotion to her faith.

Mother to everyone, Ren'ee was a source of advice and guidance on life, relationships and recipes. You could often find her watching the latest TV craze and sipping on a cup of coffee throughout the day. She loved family and children, and both would gravitate towards her. She excelled in her role as a mother and was her happiest when helping children navigate the world, learn, and grow. She enjoyed her family time, especially with her grandchildren. She was very strong in her faith, and made time for her bible daily; including writing and leaving bible verses throughout the house to share with those she loved.

She is survived by her loving children Nickolas Torres and Elena Torres, as well as her beloved niece Sarah Esping. Her cherished grandchildren Amaya Valencia, Estrella Torres, Nevaeh Torres, Savannah Torres, Nickolas Torres Jr, Isabella Torres, Jonah Diaz, Patrick Esping Jr, Jadyn Esping and Megan Esping. And her sisters Connie June Herdt and Sophia Roseann Fallin.

Ren'ee is preceded in death by her mother Inez, father Kenneth, son Adrian, and older brother Leslie Wayne Summers.
