Frances, Teresa Lucero Trujillo, age 90, of Albuquerque, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving children. She was born on October 15, 1935, in Las Vegas, New Mexico at the ranch.
Born and raised at the ranch near Las Vegas, New Mexico, she grew up with a spirited personality that carried through her entire life. Spunky and full of energy, she loved to talk, laugh, and share stories with family and friends. Her joy was found in the company of those she loved, and she never missed an opportunity to brighten a room with her presence.
She married the love of her life, Filadelfio Trujillo, and together they journeyed through several states for his work before settling in Albuquerque, where they built a home filled with faith, love, and laughter. Though she missed her husband deeply after his passing, she longed for the day she would be reunited with him in heaven.
Above all, her greatest devotion was to the Lord, her Savior. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through joys and trials alike. She spoke often of her longing to be with her Savior, and her family finds peace knowing that her prayers have been answered. She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Mahjouba Gtob) Trujillo, Phil (JoAnne) Trujillo, Michael (Lydia) Trujillo, and James (Rebecca) Trujillo; her eight grandchildren, Houria Elashari, Hicham Ezzouheri, Angela (Shai Cotler) Trujillo, April (Frank) Reddy, Reuben (Amy) Trujillo, Celina (Chance) Gamble, Christopher(Roxanne) Trujillo, and Nicole Trujillo; and her 10 great-grandchildren, Malcolm, Frankie, Roslyn, Reagan, Kendall, Sophie, Christopher, Isirdo, Ellieana, and Millie. She is also survived by her sister Mary Coca, whose husband, Earnest, is deceased, and her brothers, Gilbert Lucero Tobias Lucero, and brother in law, Eloy Trujillo, and sister-in-law, and Avora Montoya. She leaves many nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Filadelfio Trujillo, her father, (Tobias), mother, Flora, brothers Joe, George, Alex and Sister Margaret.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that she has entered into eternal peace, embraced by her Savior and reunited with her husband in heaven.
