Frances Garcia

Frances Ann Garcia, 69, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Saturday April 12, 2025. Frances was born in Bakersfield, CA on October 28, 1955. She was the youngest of six children. Some of her early life was spent with her family on a ranch in Deming NM. Most of her life was spent living in Albuquerque in the San Jose neighborhood. That is where she met the love of her life Rudy Garcia in 1973. They married soon after and had 3 children. They were married for 46 years prior to his passing in 2019.

Frances loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She spent most of her life caring for others. She was generous, loving, kind and often put the needs of others above her own.

Frances was preceded in death by her mother, 1 sister, 1 brother, her husband, Rudy and son, Rudy Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Tina; son, Mark; 3 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; her sister, Mary; brothers, Ed and Tony; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and her love of family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 1, 2025, beginning with a Rosary at 10:00 am followed by a reception at FRENCH- Lomas.
