Floyd Leo Romero

Floyd Leo Romero passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9 2023. He is survived by his twin sister, Florence Reeder; three children, Douglas ( Lisa), Robin ( David),and Kevin (Lisa); grandchildren, Elyse, Michael, Dominic ( Samantha), Greg, Mikaela, Jenna, Connor, and Ryder. Floyd was raised in Denver, CO. He was a machinist and a carpenter. He built two of the homes that our family lived in. Later he and his wife Arcie owned and operated many restaurants including Los Padres. Floyd was a devoted Denver Bronco fan all his life. Floyd joined the Peace Corps and traveled to the Micronesian Islands to help the natives. He loved to travel, especially with his dad Chris. Later he got his degree from Oregon state college then moved to New Mexico and taught school until he retired. He is preceded in death by his parents Chris and Frances; and brothers Chris and Gerald Romero. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH- Westside. Reception to follow.
