Florentino G. (Gabby) Gabaldon

GABALDON, FLORENTINO G. (Gabby) Passed away on July 13, 2013 after an extended illness. Gabby leaves behind his beloved wife Corrine; daughters Belynda and husband Mark Prehn of Montrose, CO; Karyn and husband Jeff Solon of Durango, CO; his brother Fidel and wife Lucy of Los Chavez, NM; sisters Nina Olguin of Belen, NM; Dubie Vigil of Mountainair, NM; Rose and husband Lucian Turrietta of Las Vegas, NV; many loving step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was an incredible and loving man. He will be missed by everyone. He was very proud to be an USMC, 6th Div. Marine who served in the South Pacific during WWII. After the service he began a career at Sandia National Labs retiring in 1978 after 32 years of service. Rest in Peace. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:00 am at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM, followed by Mass at 10:30 am.
