Faye Ward a long time resident of Albuquerque, loving daughter, wife, mother and partner, passed away after a long illness Wednesday, February 22, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Ward; her parents, Louis and Mayme Weller and her brother, Lou Weller. She is survived by four children, her son, Cole Ward and wife, Jan; her daughter's , Cherokee Spellacy and husband, Brian, Jodie Marshall and husband, Bill, Wauhillau Erbe and husband, Kevin. Also survived by her brother, Joe Weller and wife, Martha; sister-in-law, Mildred Weller; longtime partner, Lawrence Jaramillo; and numerous grandchildren; and great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
Fay was born in Lawton, OK and was a graduate of Albuquerque High and attended the University of New Mexico. She worked at the Bureau of Indian Affairs for many years where she made many good friends. She will be remembered for her generosity and fun loving spirit and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of her Life Service will be held Monday, February 27, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas followed by a Graveside Service at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of New Mexico, 2900 Louisiana Blvd NE South Building Suite 100, Albuquerque, NM, 87110. The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice of New Mexico for their loving care in Faye's final days.
