Evelyn Gloria Marquez

Evelyn Gloria Marquez (Flores) passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 . She was a graduate of Santa Rosa High School and attended Northern New Mexico College in El Rito, NM where she graduated with a degree in accounting. She worked for many years at Los Cuates Restaurant as their bookkeeper. Evelyn loved Bowling, spending time with her Grandkids and extended family, and loved to cook and feed everyone. Evelyn was a gentle soul who would open her home to anyone in need. Preceded in death by her parents Eliberto (Libby) Dodge Flores and Equiteria (Katy) Espinosa Flores, Ex Husband Martin Marquez, brother Erminio Flores, sisters Dora Sanchez, Antonia Martinez, Ramona Brusseau, Elvira Segura, Patsy Ortiz, and Dolores Campos. She is survived by her children Tanya Marquez-Ulmer, Mario Marquez and Damien Marquez, Grandchildren Alexander Marquez, Ariana Marquez, Devin Marquez, Jesslyn Marquez, Great Grandchildren Bentley Marquez, Jordan Marquez, Sisters Fabiola Gomez, Julia Teri Cordova, Marianne Ware and brother Danny Flores. Services will be held in Santa Rosa, NM with a date TBD.
