Evelyn L. Fink

Evelyn L. Fink, age 79, was born on September 20, 1944 in Woodbury, New Jersey. She passed away on June 8, 2024. Proceeding her in death were her parents Norman R and Evelyn Card Fink; her sister, Routh Ellen Whitecraft; her aunt and uncle, Routh and Ralph Card of Milan, New Mexico; her dear friend, Helen A. Sawyers of Albuquerque, New Mexico; as well as many of her dear dog's. 

Graduating from Woodbury High School in 1962 and Ann May School of Nursing in Neptune, New Jersey in 1965. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science from University of New Mexico in 1984. She began her career as a Labor and Delivery Nurse then became a Supervisor. She opened Birthing Rooms at Mt. Zion in San Francisco that became National Model's. She was a chief specialty Nurse of Arabian American Oil Company in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She retired from Indian Health Service after 16 years of service. 

She is survived by her dear friends, Charles W. White of Fort Worth, Texas and Gloria Griego of Los Lunas, New Mexico. 

A mass will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at St. Michaels and Angels Episcopal Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico at 11:00am.
