Evelyn Alejandro

Evelyn Alejandro, age 66, beloved mother, sister, and friend was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, September 30, 2019. Evelyn was known for her loving heart, profound faith, and commitment to all the people she loved. She also served faithfully at the parish of St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande teaching catechism for many years. Evelyn also spent that last 23 years working at Rio Grande Jewelry, where she made many lasting friendships. She entered this world on September 26, 1953, in Phoenix, AZ, born to Pablo and Polly Alejandro. She is survived by her son, Stephen Pina; sisters, Carmen Mattio and Barbra Esquivel. She also leaves behind so many cherished nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her, father, Pablo; mother, Polly; sister, Debbie; and brother, Paul. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande at 5901 St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Dr. NW. Her loving family asks that guests wear pink to the services to honor her memory.
