Eugene Baca

Eugene A. Baca passed into eternal life on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM. Gene was born in Shelby County Tennessee in 1949 but spent most of his life in Texas. He was a skilled machinist for Daniel Industries Inc. and later in life trained as an electrical technician. Gene worked for Sun Medical Corporation and was responsible for the installation of mother and baby security systems in hospitals. He also inspected, calibrated, and repaired medical laser equipment. Before retirement Gene installed electrical wiring harnesses in commercial aircraft.

Gene enjoyed camping in the New Mexico and Colorado mountains, fishing, cruising, and showing his granddaughter how to fish.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, former spouse, and younger brother, David. He is survived by Randa (Sutton) Baca of 39 years of marriage, his daughters Sister Patricia Baca, R.S.M., and Kasey Baca, and granddaughter, Harper; his sisters Donna (Clark) Jones, and Rosemary (George) Shannon, and several nieces and a nephew.

A Celebration of Life will take place on December 15, 2023 at 5 pm, located at French Westside Chapel.
