Erwin Douglas Latimer

Erwin Douglas "Doug" Latimer, 79, passed away on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Latimer; children, Kurt Latimer and Shannon Latimer; two grandchildren, Connor and Lily Latimer; and his sister, Donna Timmons. Doug was born in Fort Sumner, NM, grew up in Roswell and, after earning his JD from the University of Utah, he practiced as a trial lawyer in Albuquerque. He was considered a "gentleman trial lawyer"-- greatly respected by his peers and adversaries. In 1994, he built a home in Seldovia, Alaska where he spent his time hunting, fishing, and being a generous and convivial host and cook. He will be sorely missed. At Doug's request, no memorial service or funeral is planned.
