Erlinda Hidalgo

Erlinda Hidalgo, age 86, Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister, Auntie and Friend left this world to be with our Lord Thursday, March 15, 2018. Erlinda was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico December 30, 1931.  She dedicated her life to the happiness and wellbeing of her husband, children and grandchildren.  Erlinda loved spending time with her family and friends at her beloved home away from home at Conchas Dam.  She enjoyed visiting local casinos with close friends and was always hard to pull out of her slot machine seat when it was time to go home.  Every weekend was a mini vacation for Erlinda as her children would pack her bags and spend alternating weekends at their homes with her.  She loved being spoiled and always was so grateful for the time she spent with her children and their families.  Erlinda was an Angel sent from heaven and will return an Angel.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eduardo (Lalo) Hidalgo; her daughters, Diana Herrera and husband, Clarence, Margaret Peck and husband, Chris; her sons, Larry Hidalgo and wife, Elisa, Freddie Hidalgo and wife, Christine, Geno Hidalgo and wife, Annette; grandchildren, Steven Herrera, Monico Jones, Jaysa Jones, Monica Hidalgo, Mario Hidalgo and wife, Lauren, Stephen Serna and wife, Joann, Alexandra Darling, Chelsi Romero and husband, Joshua, Alexandra Hidalgo, Chaisson Cradit, Gabriel Hidalgo, Jonathan Hidalgo and Taylor Hidalgo; great grandchildren, Raymond and Ceci Herrera, Ryan and Haley Herrera, Aidan Jones Torrez, Emmie Hernandez, Estevan Hernandez, Mya Serna and Dominic Hidalgo.  Erlinda is also survived by brothers, Fred Sandoval and wife, Dessie, Patrick Sandoval and wife, Betty; sister, Yolanda Rodriguez and husband, Mike.  She leaves many cherished nephews, nieces and dear friends. She was preceded in death by son, Eddie Hidalgo; parents, Federico and Victorita Sandoval; and brother, Ramon Sandoval.

Erlinda’s family would like to invite family and friends to a reception at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Parish Hall following Interment.
