Our family is saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Erik Anthony Lewis, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Erik was born October 3,1987, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Mark and Marie Lewis.

Growing up, Erik loved playing baseball, basketball, riding his bike, and video games. Erik graduated from Grants High School in 2006, where he was a loyal friend and teammate to many. He played basketball, tennis, and ran cross-country throughout his high school years. His passion for music and the guitar started as a teenager. He was a skilled guitarist, playing with several bands. He graduated from Western New Mexico University in 2011, with a degree in Business Administration Management Information Systems. After college, he worked for many years in technical support and customer service.

Throughout his life, Erik brought light and laughter wherever he went, and he will be dearly missed. Erik is survived by his parents Mark and Marie Lewis, his sister, Erin Castillo, and her husband, Joseph Castillo.
