Eleanor Buchan

Eleanor Buchan, age 88 years old, who was a dedicated mother and friend to many, passed away on Thursday June 9th, 2022. Eleanor was known for being a loving, generous mother and for her ever-present sense of humor and contagious laughter. She was very social, loved spending time and playing games with friends and family. Her glass was always more than half full.

She is survived by her son and daughter, John Buchan and Laura Buchan, as well as by her family of choice: Christianna, Beth, Shane, Erin, Sarah, Savannah, Ron and Mona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Buchan Jr, as well as her 10 brothers and sisters.

A visitation and memorial service will be held at French Funeral Home on University on Friday July 8th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. and then 3:00 p.m. Interment will immediately take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
