Edward George Puzak (Aug 9, 1939 to Aug 6,2025) went to rest with his fathers this morning. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Michael "Mitchell" Puzak and Mary May Kresko Puzak. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mike Puzak. He is survived by brothers, Joseph Puzak and John David Puzak and wife, Linda. He is survived by his wife, Nelda, to whom he was married for 65 years. Edward resided in Edgewood, New Mexico.
At his death he was surrounded by his four children, Theresa and husband, Lionel Young, Tim Puzak and wife, Patricia, Laura and husband, Jon Hidalgo, and Daniel Puzak and wife, Lisa. Also at his side were his brother, John David with his children. Many of his 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, far to numerous to name, were also at his side.
Edward was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and moved to Albuquerque 1949. He was a graduate of Albuquerque High School and a businessman who owned Puzak Tire and Outwest Electric. He was a member of the World Wide Church of God, where he served as a deacon for many years.
Edward was referred to as "Papa" by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Papa loved to read and study the scriptures, he also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors in general.
"Goodbye Papa until we meet again in the house of our Father. I know there will be many tears shed until that day, but in that day there will only be tears of happiness!"
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming, with a reception to follow.
