Edward Richard Fisher

Edward R. Fisher, 96, of Albuquerque, NM, died July 15, 2026. Edward was born on July 12, 1930, in Gary, Indiana.
He was proceeded in death by parents Walter and Helen Fisher of Gary Indiana, wife Helen Fisher of Albuquerque, three brothers, and one sister. He is survived by wife, Hazel Fisher of Albuquerque, five children, Larry (Julie) Fisher of Roselle, IL; Dan Fisher of Amarillo, TX; Tom (Midge) Fisher of Seattle, WA; Bob (Michal) Fisher of Lubbock, TX; Susan (Mike) Schaller of Albuquerque, NM; six granddaughters, two grandsons, fifteen great grandsons, two great granddaughters, six nephews, and five nieces.
Edward worked his entire career at ACF Industries and General Electric. He served in the United States Navy during the Koren War. Edward was active at St. Aidan's, St. John's, and St. Chad's Episcopal Churches.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, 11 am, at Saint Francis Episcopal Church, 2903 Cabezon Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 1 pm.
