Edward Anthony Austin
August 26, 1926 — July 24, 2017
Edward Austin passed in peace on July 24, 2017, just short of his 91st birthday.
Edward was born in Clovis, NM. He chose Las Vegas, Nevada as a place to call home. There, he was able to live out his dream of being a chef and enjoyed the city lights. After retirement, he returned to New Mexico, where he spent his days relaxing in the sun and singing his favorite songs to all.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park.
We would like to thank Alex and all of the staff at Ambercare Hospice as well as Life Spire Assisted Living Caregivers for their wonderful care. We will forever hear your serenade.
