Eduardo Antonio Isasi

November 30, 1948 — June 25, 2023

Eduardo Antonio Isasi Sr., 74, was born to Juan Isasi and Rita Peña in McAllen, TX on Tuesday, November 30, 1948. During most of his youth, he lived in Chandler, AZ graduating from Chandler High School in 1967. His passion for playing sports and physical activity; football, baseball, racketball, swimming, and weight lifting, began as a child and lasted throughout his life. After high school, Eduardo entered the US Air Force servicing multiple tours in Vietnam. His love of planes took him around the world expanding his excitement for travel and adventure. He began working for the United States Postal Service after retiring 20 years in the Air Force. His strong work ethic provided another 19 years for his second retirement. Just recently he asked his wife how he could be a school bus driver because he missed working so much.
He was a very hardworking, extremely generous, self-imposed responsible for everyone sharp dresser. He met his lifelong love and best friend, Paula, and immediately knew that she was going to be his partner of escapades. After three dates and a couple months they were married for fifty years of joy and love. He is also survived by his four older brothers; Jose Angel Trevino, Pablo Trevino, Jose Fernando Garcia and Juan Isasi; and one beautiful younger sister Evangelina Alvarado. His three children, Marie Lisa Hughey, Eduardo Antonio Isasi Jr. and Adelina Camilla Isasi provided him with his true hearts, eight grandchildren he talked about everyday. He was so proud of Thomas Xavier Hughey, 26, Chantel Antonia Washington, 22, Roan Camilo Hughey, 15, Angelique Adelina Isasi, 13, Kayana Gabriella Paulene Hughey, 10, Zayian Antonio Davis, 9, Nikolai Asher Rosner 3, and Santiago Orlando Isasi, 3. While his passing on Sunday June 25, 2023 will leave missing him and piece of our hearts gone, he would want us to enjoy and live life fully.
He will be remembered with Services on Thursday July 6, 2023 beginning at St. Bernadette Church 11509 Indian Schoo, Rd Albuquerque with a 9:00 a.m. viewing followed by a 9:30 Rosary and 10:00 a.m. Mass.
