Edna Kessel Geiszler, 97, passed away peacefully in Albuquerque, NM on June 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and lifelong companion of 56 years, Albert. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Geiszler of Albuquerque and Susan Swigert of Jeffersonville, OH; her two granddaughters, Christie Swigert and Amy Swigert of OH; her brother Marvin Kessel of Indianapolis, IN and her sister Elenore Boeddeker of Chandler, AZ.
Edna was one of eight children born to Christina and Gottlieb Kessel in Ashley, ND. She met and married Al, her high school sweetheart in Ashley. Once married, they moved several times for Al's career and settled in Warren, OH where she and Al raised their children. Edna was a wonderful wife and mother. She was proud to be a homemaker and was very active in her church and volunteered at the local hospital. Prior to moving to Albuquerque, she and he husband lived in California and Sun Lakes, AZ.
