Conley, "Edith" Lynn
"Edith" Lynn Conley : April 17, 1938 - January 12, 2017. Born in Austin, TX to Edwin and Edith Elliott. Lynn was a woman full of life and vigor. She was one you could go to and she would have the answer. She always had to be 100% presentable, never without her makeup, hair, and nails done. She loved to put all of her fun crazy self into everything she did. She was a loving and caring woman. Her friends and family were her life. If you needed taking care of, she would be right by your side. She is survived by her husband, Louis Conley; their three children, Pam McConnell, Tammy Earnest, and Eric Webster; their five grandchildren, Taryn Schlegel, Jefferson Hooten, Mackenzie Hooten, Kailyn Wester, and Hailey Webster; their two great-grandchildren, Jayden Schlegel and Kadie Schlegel; and her brother, Ed Elliott. She would always say, "My husband is the love of my life! So glad he chose me." This woman was so full of life and energy and is sure missed by everyone she knew. Her favorite thing to do is go up to Angel Fire and feed the squirrels with her husband. Her yard was always her go to place in town to reflect and pray. She was a children's bible teacher at Hoffmantown Church and still hung the pictures drawn by her students. Peanut Brittle, the furry four legged child, was by far her biggest fan. Peanut would sit in her lap and read the latest gossip magazines. Her favorite dancing song was The Macarena. She loved the exaggerated dance movement and the exciting Latin beat. But, at the end of the day Lynn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, GG, aunt, sister and daughter. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the FRENCH - Lomas Chapel. In lieu of flowers Louis would like donations made to the Animal Humane Society in Lynn's name, so that her love of animals can live on.
