Earl Roenfranz, 87, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Nina of 55 years; his three children, Rebecca Roenfranz of El Paso, TX, Brian Roenfranz and wife Jennifer, of Albuquerque, Randall Roenfranz and wife Jennifer of Somerset, NJ; and two grandchildren, Tavin Blanco and Carson Roenfranz. He is also survived by a sister, Joyce Anderson, of Colorado Springs.
Earl was born in Menominee, Michigan and was raised in Marinette, Wisconsin. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a radio operator in Germany from 1951 until 1953. He then returned to Wisconsin where he attended Spencerian College, in Milwaukee.
He moved to New Mexico in 1955, and met his wife, Nina, while working at Homestake Sapin Partners in Grants, New Mexico. He worked for American Furniture until he retired in 1993. He loved the outdoors, especially camping, and race walking, and was a faithful fan of the Green Bay Packers.
A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 3900 Wyoming Blvd. NE
