Dorothy (Chavez) Zamora

Dorothy Chavez Zamora, born and raised in Sile, NM, age 72, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Horace Zamora; son, Paul Zamora; daughter, Shirley Ann Zamora; son, Augustine and wife, Loriann Zamora; six grandchildren, Angel, April, Paul Jr., Brandon, Bryanna, and Zachary; four great-grandchildren, Desire, Socorra, Tamara, and James; sister, Esther Segura of Albuquerque, NM; auntie, Frances Byers of Colorado Springs; brothers-in-law, Deacon Joe Segura of Sile NM, and Gilbert Trujeque of Albuquerque, NM; sister-in-law, Sylvia Zamora of Bernalillo, NM; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Teofilo and Isidora Segura and Dan Chavez; son, Brian Zamora; sisters, Juanita Nieto, Reina Segura, Grace Trujeque and Paulette Chavez.

She will be greatly missed. Due to Covid restrictions, services will be held at a later date.
