Dorothy Jane (Hartson) Grange

Dorothy Jane Hartson Grange was born November 26, 1920, in Albuquerque, NM to Fred C. and Agnes Weberg Hartson. She passed away surrounded by family on July 1, 2017. She is survived by her son, Gary (Betty) Grange; grandchildren, Susan (Justin) Conner, Pat (Dana) Black, Chad Grange, Kacie Grange, and Jennifer Detrana; six great-grandchildren, Tristen, Anna, Liam, and Madelyn Conner, Samantha Detrana, and Alexander Beltran.
In 1941, she married Donald C. Grange in Fresno, CA. Dorothy graduated from UNM in 1959 and spent 24 years working for APS. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, shepherd of the Valley Church, and a docent at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science for twenty years.
Dorothy and Don traveled in all 50 states, Mexico, Canada, and many countries in Europe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Grange, and her daughter, Carol D. Black. Cremation has taken place and a private service for family was held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
