Dora Elia (Perez) Velasco

Dora Elia Velasco, age 95, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Dora was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to Albert Perez and Concepcion Palma on Thursday, January 20, 1928.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grand mother, mother-in law, aunt, sister, and loving friend. Everyone who knew Dora would agree that she was an exceptional cook and loved entertaining family and guests in her home. She also enjoyed music and dancing.
Dora is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Velasco; daughter, Isabel Martinez; and grandson, Felipe Velasco-Saiz as well as her parents and siblings.
Dora is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Velasco, Patty Candelaria (Enrique), Belinda Velasco de Mora, Corrine Sanchez (Bob); and son,David Velasco (Elena) as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In honor of our mother's request, there will be no funeral services held.
