Dora Mae (Brito) Campos

Known as Mama Dora to many amazing friends, Dora was born in Artesia, New Mexico on Thursday, May 23, 1935.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Hilario Brito and Theresa Gomez; mom, Micaela G Brito; husband, Juvencio "Louis" Campos; daughter, Lena Marquez; sister, Stella Saiz; brother, Joe Brito Gomez Sr.; and grandson, Baby Boy Marquez
She is survived by her son, Larry Campos and wife Flora from Rio Rancho, NM; daughters, Susie Perez and husband Julio Jr of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters, Lupe Beltran, Ida Bejarano. Martha Grado, all from Artesia, NM, Lucy Brito, from Houston, TX; brothers, Sam Brito and wife Nancy from Buffalo, NY; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 6:30 pm, where the family will have prayer, scripture, and music. A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, at 1:00pm, with Father Francis Lazer, Deacon Pablo Merjil, Deacon Tony Torres, Deacon Richard Rodriquez, and Deacon Bobby Garcia presiding.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Manuel Marquez, Christopher Perez, David Campos, Trent McCoy Sr., Xavier Vigil, Trent Eric McCoy Jr., Jessie Saiz, Joe Gomez Jr., Agustin Torrez, Jessie Alvarado, Jonathan Vigil, Reggie Lara, and Dakota Vigil.

The family will hold a private Burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park Cemetery immediately after the service.
