Donna Mae Muenster

Donna Mae Muenster, was called home to heaven on Sunday, October 18, 2026 with her beloved husband by her side. Donna was born on Friday, June 24, 1938, in Sidney, Nebraska and died at the age of 88 in her Albuquerque home.

Donna grew up on the family farm in Sindey, Nebraska graduating high school in Sindey and retaining her Register Nurse (RN) license at the Immanual School of Nursing in Omaha Nebraska, thereafter. Donna continuing her nursing education graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, Nebraska. After accomplishing her degree she followed her fiancée, who was drafted by the US Army, and moved to Stuttgart Germany where they married on Friday, September 2, 1960. In 1961 they moved to Denver and eventually found themselves calling Albuquerque, New Mexico their home.

Donna loved to travel, garden, hike, backpack, follow her husband on fishing trips and downhill skiing, always taking the first and last chairlift up. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Wayne Muenster, her sister Marlyn Kuhn and her husband Dennis Kuhn, her daughter Debra Muenster and her husband William Borras, her son Jeff Muenster and his wife Leanne Thomas and two loving grandchildren Katheryn Burns and Jacob Borras.
