Donna Gibson

Born March 29, 1937, in Galesburg, IL, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at age 87. She moved to Albuquerque at the age of 15. Donna graduated from Highland High School in 1955, where she met and married her beloved husband, Donnie of 63 years. In her early years, she played the piano and coronet. Donna was a devout Christian reading her bible daily along with being an avid reader.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Teri Tate (Mark) and Toni Morales (Mark); son, Tracy Gibson (Patricia); five grandchildren, Mark Morales, Jessica Romeo, Garrett Tate, Justin Baker, and Elliott Gibson; two great-grandchildren, Alex Barajas and Liliana Morales; brother, Lynn Meiers; sister, Jean Egbert; stepchildren, James Romero, Renee Solis, and Michelle Montano; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Albuquerque Christian Children's Home would be appreciated. Heartfelt thanks to Corus Hospice and the staff at Fairwinds - Rio Rancho.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, 12:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University, with visitation at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
