Donald Wayne Tirey, age 87, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Alice; daughters, Donna (Dean) Schachtner, Peggy (Tim) Holland, and Michelle Tirey; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Since his retirement from General Electric of 33 years, Don enjoyed traveling, playing cards and was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Services will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
