Larry James

Larry James passed away on June 12, 2024.

He was a native of Albuquerque and loved his city and state.

Larry graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1953, where he earned a debate and public speaking scholarship to UNM.

Larry entered the insurance business and spent a 45-year career with Allstate as an employee, and later owned his own agency.

He was a lifelong Lobo fan, and owned season tickets at The PIT when it was originally built in 1966.

His love of Albuquerque and NM was surpassed only by his love of dogs.

Larry was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jackie 67 years and his special fur baby, Mandy.

He is survived by his three children, Rochelle, Rhonda, and Rick (Angie), and two grandchildren, Jason (Ari) and Christy (Leland).

Per his request, there will be no services.
