William "Don" Miller

William "Don" Miller, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on his 90th birthday, July 18, 2025.

Born on July 18, 1935, Don was a devoted follower of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and an active member of Sagebrush church.

Don's career spanned several decades. Beginning as a ranch hand in his younger years, he eventually founded his own water well drilling business, providing service to property owners in the Jemez and East Mountain areas. He took pride in his work and was well respected by all who knew him for his integrity and commitment to his craft.

Don was preceded in glory by his wife, Wilma Miller; his children, Cindy Miller and Doyle Miller; and his mother, Lema Groves. 

He is survived by his brother, Allen Dale Rector (Helen); daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Miller Patterson (Willie); and grandchildren, Kailynn Miller and William Jerrod Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A service celebrating Don's life will be held on Friday, July 25th at 1:00 pm. Services will be held at Sagebrush Church Uptown, located at 1613 Arizona St NE, 87110. Reception to follow.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place. Interment will follow at a later date at Tucumcari Memorial Park in Tucumcari, NM.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
