Dolores Vivian Morgan, 91, passed away on June 2, 2026. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to parents of Lithuanian and Norwegian descent, she was proud of her heritage and traveled frequently to visit extended family, whom she loved dearly. She was a world traveler who remained interested in her next trip throughout her life.
Dolores worked for decades as a real estate agent. After moving to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in her late thirties, she took up downhill skiing and tennis. She prioritized healthy habits, walking daily in her neighborhood, and participating in aerobics classes at the Jewish Community Center. Getting together with friends to play Bridge was one of her favorite pastimes. At age 68, she completed her bachelor's degree at the University of New Mexico (UNM).
She was active in civic circles, serving as a member and once president of the Albuquerque chapter of the Optimist Club. She was also an active participant in her church, Hoffmantown Baptist and in her HOA.
Her beloved husband Thomas preceded her in death in 1999, as did her fiance Roger in 2016.
She is survived by her brother, James; three daughters from her first marriage, Cynthia, Jennifer, and Katherine; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nariana, and Abigail.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at French's Mortuary on Wyoming Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donating to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
