Dion Wade Rumney

Dion Wade Rumney, 72, beloved Father, passed away from the Novel Corona Virus on Saturday, November 28, 2020. He entered this world on Thursday, December 18, 1947, in LaSalle, CO, born to Donald and Betty Rumney. He is survived by his son, Dylan. Wade served in the Navy from 1969 to 1972. After his military service, Wade completed his college education at the University of Idaho. He spent his career in service to the United States Postal Service, most notably as a Postmaster in Gunnison, CO and serving multiple times on the National League of Postmasters Executive Board. In retirement, he spent his time helping and counseling others. He loved traveling and the outdoors.
