Diane Elizabeth Martin, born on April 8, 1943, in Seattle, Washington, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Diane dedicated over 43 years of her life as a Registered Nurse, serving countless patients and earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues in the hospital industry.

A devoted mother, Diane is survived by her son, Chris Martin, and her cherished grandsons, Caleb and Cody Martin. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings: sisters, Mary Komen and Janet East, and brothers, Brian and Peter Komen. Diane was preceded in death by: Rhoda Komen, Peter Komen, Jr., and Cheri Martin.

Diane's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she loved spending time with them, creating lasting memories and sharing her passions.

In addition to her profession, Diane had a rich array of hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, pottery, baking, canning, and crocheting. Her creative spirit was reflected in her many projects, which she often shared with her loved ones. An avid animal lover, Diane, also cherished the companionship of her pets, who brought her immense happiness.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Lomas Chapel.
Following her wishes, Diane will be cremated, with her remains to be respectfully handled at 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in celebrating her remarkable life and legacy.
