Delia Wilson

Delia Arevalo Wilson, age 69, passed away on September 27, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Delia was born on March 24, 1954, in Masbate, Philippines. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Delia is survived by her daughters, Rowena Arevalo, Dora Hampsten and LaWanda Hightower, her son Marcus Wilson, and her grandchildren Daisia Wilson-Hightower, Tajha Hightower, Xavier Hightower, Isaiah New, Tevante Wilson, Tyanna Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Lauren Hampsten,  Reid Hampsten, and Emily Hampsten. She was also a great-grandmother to Kehlani, Everleigh, Makayla, and Samara. Delia also leaves behind her best friend and ex-husband, Frazier Wilson.

Delia had a passion for singing, dancing, sewing, and visiting with her family. She always found joy in these activities and cherished the time spent with her loved ones.

A memorial service to celebrate Delia's life will be held on October 27, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The funeral arrangements are being handled by French Funerals & Cremations, located in Albuquerque.

Delia Arevalo Wilson's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
