David Lee Pressel

David Lee Pressel, age 88, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 4, 2026. He was born on October 29, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, to Victor and Marie (Pleasant) Pressel.

His early years were spent in Memphis, Tennessee, and later in Northbrook, Illinois. He graduated from Glenbrook High School and eventually received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Phoenix. He went on to build a career in logistics and subsequently computer analytics.

David married the love of his life, Diane Anderson, in 1983. They built a life together in Bolingbrook Il until 2004, when they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Here David continued his life path of faith, community, and music.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John and Marie Lukits, his biological father Victor Pressel, as well as a brother, Donald Pressel.

David is survived by his wife, Diane (Anderson) Pressel; his children, Marion Richardson, Debbie and Brett Engmark, and David and Lisa Pressel; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception at 12:00 p.m. at Cross of Hope Lutheran Church, 6104 Taylor Ranch Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM. A private family ceremony of the scattering of ashes will be held later that afternoon.
